The View

Though the concrete lay cracked,

The view out of my window lay as smooth as silk,

These puddles so wet, mud so muddy,

That mountain so high yet so clear,

Even at the pitch of night,

Each wave that crashes along the shore,

Reminds me of my trips to the sea when I was five,

I left that all behind,

But this week, it came back to me, that memory of mine...

We had a whale of a time yesterday and today is probably going to be even better. After our welsh sessions, group one will be starting off with horse riding, group two will be trampolining and group three will be racing around the track on a quad bike! In between all of this, we will be having four delicious meals- even green pasta! We are also really looking forward to (teacher's dreading) the mud course later on, and parents should not expect clean clothes to be returned!

Day 1:

So far, we have had a delicious lunch, followed by a long walk to the beach where we explored all the rock pools and coves, played games in the sand and enjoyed a snack of our choice! We are now unpacking our suitcases and getting ready for this evening's activities: it's all go, go, go!
