The BFG Performance

Years One and Two were lucky enough to be visited today by an actor from both stage and television. Mr Anthony Pedley has been an actor for 45 years and has made more than 1750 appearances as the BFG!

He ‘told’ the story of the Big Friendly Giant single handedly, apart from his trusty assistant Sophie (a wooden puppet).

His performance and enthusiasm, captivated the audience, who watched transfixed – giving ‘ooohs’ and ‘aaah’s as he took them through this well-known story. That was until the famous ‘Whizz Popping’ episode that made the children laugh in amazement!!

The children were captivated throughout and enjoyed every minute. Many thanks to Mr Pedley for a very enjoyable performance!
